Asparagus Mummies


  • 1 bunch Hippie Organics® Asparagus 

  • 1 Crescent Role

  • 1 cup Mayonnaise

  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Lemon Juice

  • 1 Garlic Clove, grated

  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

  • Candied Eyes (decoration)


  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 

  2. Use a sharp knife or pizza cutter to cut each crescent triangle into thin strips. 

  3. Rinse, trim, and dry the Hippie Organics® Asparagus then wrap two asparagus spears with the crescent strips. 

  4. Place the wrapped asparagus on the parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown.

  5. While the mummy hot dogs are in the oven, make the garlic aioli. Combine all of the sauce ingredients in a bowl then taste and adjust seasoning if needed.

  6. Once the asparagus mummies come out of the oven, add candied eyes to complete the look and serve with the garlic aioli.
